Two weeks ago we announced the imminent release of Join The Future: UK Bleep & Bass 1988-91, a companion compilation album to the book. In the works for longer than the book itself (for details, check out this post on author and compilation curator Matt Anniss’s website), the collection gathers together a mixture of rare, hard-to-find, overlooked and previously unreleased bleep and bass gems.

The compilation is set to be released by Cease & Desist, a new label from Optimo’s JD Twitch, on March 27th 2020. While it will be available in many different stores, only one is selling a limited edition purple vinyl version: Bleep.com.

Only 300 copies of this version are being manufactured and many of these have already been snapped up via pre-order. There are still some left though, so if you’d like to guarantee a copy we’d advise heading over to the Join The Future pre-order page at Bleep.com right now.

In the meantime, you can find out more about the compilation here.
